5 Little Gingerbread Men

{Theme: Finger Play/School Readiness | Activity Type: Counting, Gross Motor, Fine Motor}

One-to-one correspondence is an early learning math skill that involves the act of
counting each object in a set once, and only once with one touch per object. Fingerplays
with visuals give more meaning to the learning of this skill because the children are actively
involved. If possible, make a set of 5 gingerbread for every child so they can physically
touch each one as they count.
